Structural special inspections are periodic or continuous inspections performed by certified individuals with the goal of verifying that the consturction of structural components is in conformance with the approved construction documents and the prevailing building code.

Structural Concepts, Inc. is qualified to act as the Structural Engineer responsible for Special Inspections and to perform many commonly requested structural special inspections. Multiple SCI staff members, including licensed structural engineers and certified special inspectors, can perform structural special inspections for concrete, masonry, timber and post-installed anchors inspection requirements. Structural steel and welding special inspections are subcontracted to partner companies, with SCI responsible for oversight.
