Manuel has been part of the Structural Concepts team since 2018, bringing his expertise in the cast-in-place and precast concrete fields. Prior to joining SCI, Manuel owned and operated his own structural engineering firm in Mexico, where he focused on designing concrete and steel structures in the transportation, commercial, civil infrastructure, residential and industrial fields. With his experience in structural analysis and construction administration, Manuel has advanced and modernized our capabilities in bridge and civil infrastructure design and analysis.
Manuel embraces modern technology in his approach to structural engineering, utilizing design software to develop technical structural designs and evaluations, including modeling and analysis for bridge projects, finite element modeling of specialty structures, and structural design of deep excavation shoring structures.
In his free time, Manuel enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He has a particular passion for tennis, futbol, golf and, when his time allows, he enjoys traveling to attend championship sporting events.
