Tony is a Project Structural Engineer at Structural Concepts, having been with us since 2004. He has more than 30 years of experience in the structural engineering field, with an emphasis on horizontal projects. He specializes in designing concrete structures and specialty steel structures and has been involved in more than 60 bridge-related projects during his tenure at SCI. He is typically responsible for technical project tasks, including design, analysis, and preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and engineering reports.
Thanks to his detail-oriented approach and extensive background in civil infrastructure, Tony has become SCI’s technical expert in bridge design and analysis, in-ground concrete structures, and specialty structures. Before pursuing his engineering career, Tony served in the United States Air Force and is now a retired Air Force officer and fighter pilot.
When he’s not working, Tony is often writing or playing music. He’s been a professional musician for even longer than he’s been an engineer, playing clarinet, tenor saxophone, and keyboards.
