Structural Concepts, Inc. Consulting Engineers has an immediate opportunity for a licensed structural engineer with 10+ years of experience. SCI is a successful and respected small business founded in 1992 on a commitment to provide clients exceptional structural engineering services and designs, while offering a pleasant and rewarding working environment for employees. Primarily focusing on clients in Southern Arizona, SCI has performed services for clients throughout the United States and into Mexico. We provide structural analysis, design, and evaluation of new or existing structures for civil infrastructure, bridges, low-rise buildings, mining, and specialty structures within multiple sectors.
SCI is seeking a licensed structural engineer with experience in the design of both horizontal and vertical structures. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, excellent communication skills, and be capable of working individually or collectively with our team and clients. The candidate will work independently, manage team members, and/or work collaboratively with other staff engineers. Responsibilities will include structural engineering, analysis, and design; preparation of structural calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications; field investigations; and construction phase services. Experience performing or overseeing structural special inspections is beneficial. Participation in local associations and engineering community activities is encouraged, but not required.
